Murray Polglase was always aware of the activities going on at the school, be it in the arts or in sports, and would always enquire about them. He'd always show up, and if that wasn't cool enough, he'd often participate. Seeing the groovy Mr Polglase jamming at Rock in the Park is one of those things that made him such a staple in the WAB community. In so many ways was he integral to the WAB we know and love, and our memories of our teenage years. His kindness, humour and wisdom were given freely, and his passion for teaching was felt every day. Murray and his family made WAB feel like a home in a place that was so far away from home for so many. That's how important he is to us.
